After working in the church for most of my adult life, I'm always interested in what the affective means are that bring people back to a church after visiting for the first time. This is even more interesting when you look at what churches spend most of their time perfecting in relation to what people found positive about their experience. Here's one survey that shows us some interesting results!
Suffice it to say, . . . being a cordial, warm human being is far more effective than singing a great song, or telling a great joke. In our disconnected age, a personal connection is truly revolutionary, and honors the image of God we were all stamped with.
